Municipal economy (Communal Service Enterprises)

A network of housing and utility enterprises is providing communal services to residents of the Raion.

The Vodokanal Valkivsky Raion Communal Service Enterprise provides, supplies, distributes, and sells drinking water and provides water disposal service.
The company has 8,110 residential customers and 120 organizational and commercial customers based in the city of Valky.

Water disposal service is provided to 2,702 residential customers and 34 enterprises and institutions of the city.
Water purification is carried out by the FTINT Institute Pilot Plant water treatment installation.
In addition, there are 17 non-specialized enterprises of various forms of ownership that provide water and sewer services in the Raion.

The Valkivsky Division of the Nova Vodolaha Branch of OJSC Kharkivgaz provides natural gas line hookup and gas supply services. There are 393.3 km of gas lines built and operated in the Raion, including:
174.2 km of high-pressure lines; and
218.9 km of low-pressure lines.
About 10,000 apartments and one-family houses, as well as 190 enterprises and organizations have centralized gas supply.

The Valky District Heating Enterprise, a branch of the respective regional company, is providing district heating services.
The total length of water networks in the city of Valky amounts to 61.7 km. The amount of water supplied is 333,700 m3 per year. The length of sewer network is 11.2 km. The volume of treated wastewater is 162,400 m3 per year.

The Communal Service Enterprise "Production Housing and Communal Enterprise" provides communal services to the residents of the city of Valky in disposal of solid waste, burial services, trucking services, and municipal improvements.
The enterprise serves 85 residential buildings with a total area of 39,100 m2, including 40 multistory apartment buildings.
