As at the outset of 2003, there were 105 small enterprises and 636 individual private entrepreneurs registered in the Raion.
Thanks to creating favorable legal, economic, and administrative environment, the number of citizens involved in this sector is growing every year.
The number of small enterprises increased 13% in 2002 compared to 2000, and number of individual entrepreneurs registered as physical persons increased by 58%.



Small businesses and entrepreneurs produce products, sell goods and services worth nearly Hr8 million or 11% of the Raion annual turnover.
Small businesses in the Raion mainly operate in food processing, manufacture of leather goods and garments, provide retail trade and everyday consumer services.
Entrepreneurs registered as physical persons are mainly involved in retail trade (76%).
